HRM Pro Battery Drain with Fenix 8

Hello,

I used to use HRM Pro with FR745 with 8-9m of battery life easily. However, after switching to Fenix 8 in the last five months my HRM Pro depleted the third battery. I suspect HRM Pro does not go to sleep mode when I detach it for some reason with Fenix 8. Is there anyone else with such a problem? I tried to check the Fenix 8 manual but did not manage to find a config relevant.

    Based on several HRM runs I've had over the years, this kind of thing started happening when the strap was failing. No idea if it was the strap or battery seal.

    The tool-less battery cover on the HRM Pro Plus is meant to fix the battery seal, but is still and integrated strap.... No idea if it works, mine is only 4 months old (replaced a dead HRM run and could find a new cheap one).

    On average, my straps only last about 2 years (over 12 years).
