Fenix 8 47mm Solar Bowflex C6 Connection

As of the latest update 13.31 and Bluetooth 28.85 the Fenix 8 will not recognize the Bowflex. The Bowflex is Bluetooth only.

The Fenix 8 would connect to the Bowflex with previous software, 12.35 and Bluetooth 28.84 specifically, but would drop connection every 90 secs.

The Bowflex connects to a Venu 3s and another brand bike computer without any issues. It would also connect to a Fenix 6 Pro without any issues.

A ticket was open opened with Garmin Support about the previous issue with no resolution. I use this Bowflex to supplement my training. I’ve been out with an injury, unrelated to sports, and I looked forward to riding and tracking my progress on this Bowflex. $1100 and I can’t track an indoor ride. This needs to be addressed or I need a different device.

I have same issue with my Fenix 8 together with my Schwinn IC4 (which is literally the same bike as Bowflex C6) under a different branding. My Garmin FR255 still works well with the the IC4. Likewise my Epix Pro worked well with this IC4. So the Fenix 8 specifically is the problem.

I have the same issue with my Fenix 8 47mm AMOLED and a Schwinn 800IC Indoor Bike. Never had problems before the update to 13.31…

I have never been able to successfully pair my Bowflex C7 to the F8. It was always extremely flaky with my FR945 but it's non-existent on the F8. I eventually gave up and spent even more money on Assioma power meter pedals which have worked flawlessly.

Same Issue for the last couple weeks but with the Enduro 3. And now for the last 3 days it cannot find it, I have put in a request to Garmin support. Huge issue if we cannot simply connect via bluetooth.

Same issue with fenix 7 pro after recent update. No longer can connect. Submitted to garmin but no resolution or progress on the fix
