I'm over 60's and I work in the dark room daily. I have not seen the issue with mine since I got it a few months back. Mine is 47mm AMOLED. I'm running 13.31 now.

It'll never be "fixed." Garmin support and engineers don't consider this a problem and feel the watch is 'within spec.' There are so many threads on this, and when garmin support chimes in, they say it's "under review" and then ask for folks to send them information. Then we do and they say they can't reproduce the issue. I mean, how hard is it for a garmin engineer to take a watch from a bright room and then into a dark room without any light? I've waited for 3 firmware cycles since I've had my F8. There won't be any 'fix' for this.
