Can not hard reset on Fenix8 solar

Hi everyone. Due to some system bugs, I try to perform a hard reset on my watch. However, I found that the following method does not work on my watch. The system just powers on directly instead of beeping as described after Step 3.
  1. Turn off the device.
  2. Press and hold the Light + Start/Stop + Back buttons simultaneously.
  3. As soon as the watch powers on, release the Light button.
  4. Release the Start/Stop button after the first “beep” sound.
  5. Release the Back button after the second “beep” sound.
I can choose to restore factory settings and delete all data in the watch’s settings. Is this equivalent to a hard reset? Why can't I complete the hard reset using the buttons?

    Unprompted Reset

    This reset will clear all settings, user profile, records, activity history, Connect IQ content, and other data.

    It is recommended to read the steps in full below before performing them.

    1. Ensure the watch is powered off.

    1. Press and hold BACK and START/STOP.

    2. Press LIGHT to power the watch on while holding these two buttons.

    3. After the first beep release START/STOP.

    4. After the second beep release the remaining buttons.

    I use this method but it didn't work. The device just power on after step 2 and nothing changed.

    Hello, pleas I can not hard reset on Fenix8 solar,

    1. Turn off the device.
    2. Press and hold the Light + Start/Stop + Back buttons. 
    3. As soon as the watch powers on, release the Light button.
    4. Release the Start/Stop button after the first “beep” sound.
    5. Release the Back button after the second “beep” sound.

    In addition, in the solar version, the blue logo is first displayed without backlighting, then the display goes off for a while and then the blue triangle again, but with the backlight on. I have to press the Start/Stop and Back buttons every time the logo goes off otherwise nothing happens. If I press it during that pause I get to the first recess, but after releasing Start/Stop, nothing happens. However I have managed to reset this way before, now I can't.
