With the rollout of the Tactix 8 series with several features added, including the rucking activity profile, can we expect that to be added to the Fenix 8 line soon?

In general I think this parameter should be available in each activity with backpack) I can hike without one or carry up to 30 kilo's)
I came to the Fenix 8 from the Tactix 7 Ballistics ed. under the assumption that most workout profiles were available to both. Also, I hardly think it would be a good move to exclude rucking on the Fenix…

My guess it will stay unique to the T8 for a short while (like Hill and Endurance Score were on the Enduro) and then wider…
Adding more weight to your body completely changes all of the stats you just listed.

Yes, of course, it does, and the watch does measure it.
After waiting for a dedicated rucking activity I am sorely disappointed it is not included in the running stats. There already is a hiking activity which is different to walking. I need something that takes into account running with weight and counts the miles done as running miles.
Can someone share a rucking activity or post here the fit file? It doesn't need to be a real activity, just start the Rucking activity for a few seconds and save it.
I started one on my Tactix 8 and saved it but not sure how to post it here?
1. go to the activity in the Connect website: https://connect.garmin.com/modern/home
2. download the fit file yourself: click on the cog-wheel in the top-right corner, then "Export File" and upload the zip here. example: 18552750328.zip
update: it turns out that I can't download the fit file from a public activity if it's not mine, so you'll have to download it and upload it here

Perfect! Thank you!
The problem with this is when you enter your pack weight it doesn’t adjust the calories burned sadly.
I have been doing a workaround for a while with my T7 pro and now Enduro 3 via the walking activity to get the correct cals burned. Been meaning to do a quick video on it on my YT channel I do for fun and mainly Garmin videos.
I do rucking to get my cals to 500 via less steps vs walking 10K. Much less time walking which I prefer and accomplish the same cals burned.

The calories are calculated from the heart rate, HRV, and breathing rate, so the watch does not need to know the extra weight for that. The higher weight automatically leads to higher HR, lower HRV, and faster breathing rate, hence it is calculated even without the weight entry.
