Peace with Garmin hrm pro plus indoor treadmill

Are the options Pace & Distance enabled in the HRM-Pro+ settings, and set to "Indoors"? Is the HRM-Pro strap connected to the watch during the activity? Did you already calibrate the strap together with the new F8 watch with minimally two hours of outdoor runs, and minimally 2.5 km each, under good GPS conditions?

You have to calibrate it with Fenix 8. The old calibration done on Fenix 6 does not transfer to the new watch. And you should also calibrate the Treadmill activity - Using the Treadmill Activity Profile on My Garmin Watch | Garmin Customer Support

So for optimal performance on a treadmill with F8 and HRM Pro+ you recommend ;

• doing 2 hours or more of an outdoor run with good GPS signal on a flattish route?
• an actual treadmill calibration I.e start the treadmill and watch at the same time for 2.5km. What speed do you suggest? Maybe a constant 10km/h or similar? End both treadmill and watch at 2.6km and on watch scroll down to ‘Calibrate’ and hit save workout?

I’ve done the above and still getting a ~25 second faster pace/km. 

The steps you did sound all right. If the pace is still wrong, you can try resetting the calibration of the HRM-Pro in the settings, and redoing it outdoors again. Use similar pace and cadence you usually run with on the treadmill too. If necessary, repeat the calibration until you get satisfactory results. If you do not succeed even after multiple attempts, reach out to the Support.

Hi all, I made all process. Reset my band and I ran half marathon included, but now when I run in a treadmill and not move my left hand for example for drink water or touch the treadmill options, then then watch doesn't show the peace for HRM Pro+

Are you sure it is connected? Are the pace & distance features enabled (using the "indoor" option) in HRM-Pro settings? Is the calibration completed?

I would test it with the watch off the wrist, placed in the proximity, for example on the display of the treadmill. If the strap is properly connected, the watch must continue showing all data including the HR, cadence, steps, pace, and distance.

Yes it is connected. With heart signal before play start. Indoor is checked, HR ok, but cadence, steps, power and peace I think that work with watch data and not from HRM

Check whether it is connected over BT or over ANT+, and set it to ANT+ if it is not. Then test it in the way described. If it does not transmit the cadence / pace / distance / RD data, then try exchanging the battery (even if it shows battery OK). If it does not help, reach out to the Support.

I check my option and I have in ANT+  and my battery life says ok
