What are your experiences with the voice commands?

I use the voice commands on the watch countless times to set timers which really works fine.
Beyond that I have to admit that's it. When I want to start an activity I prefer to just press the buttons.
But for the timer it is a great user experience not to set the time manualy.

The voice assist (google) I use most of the time to set new appointments and reminders.
Works great for me as well.

I just use it to set timers maybe 2 or 3 times a months.  And many times, it sets the wrong timers.  For some reason, when I say 40 minute timer, it always sets it to 4 hours.  The voice commands seems like it was rushed, not fully baked feature.

Like most people, for setting a timer. It takes ages to function, and regularly gets it wrong. Voice command is dreadful. That said, I'm not that sold on talking to a watch.

It is very sensitive on background noises. But when it is quiet and you speak clear it works for me almost every single time.
Sure it needs ~5 seconds to process your command but it  is still more conveinient than set a timer manually.

I wish they would build a custom command set, from customized activities, this is a big one for me.  I have an old Edge 830 that doesn't log Intensity Minutes, so I co-start a no-GPS cycling activity when I go for rides (linked to same HRM strap), so I get "credit" for those minutes (otherwise it's very hit-miss).  

I can use it to start say a Walk Activity, NP, but if I try to do a "Bike No GPS", that's a lost cause, it either just fails out or kicks me into MMA sport mode, hmm...

I've used it for a few settings things, as a test, those seem to work reasonably well (I'm very good at speaking to most things audio-assistant, I ran a dev/PM team on a voice implementation for a bit, as a tech-PM, you get VERY good at this for repro type stuff... ).

It sounds like it's not ready yet...
