Whatsapp calls on Fenix 8 - current status?

Hi everyone

I‘m trying to figure out if it works or not. I found a very small amount of posts that it works, but there is also a lot of posts around the net that it doesn’t work.

So what’s the deal in Feb 2025? Does it work?

For clarity, you're asking about whether you can answer a WhatsApp call via the watch and then use the watches mic and Bluetooth connection for the audio?

Been using it since Fenix 8 release. On iPhone it works fine. I can answer the call and talk through the watch. Very clear. The only issue is that there is slight delay from when you press a button on the watch to answer and when it activates the call. Maybe 2-3 seconds delay sometimes. This delay is also on regular calls. Other than this delay it works beautifully. Very clear and as loud if not slightly louder than AW Ultra.
