TopoActiveWestEurope stops at 70%

Thanks for your reply, but there was no map installed at all. Only the base map. There were also other issues with the watch and after 6 hours of frustration I send it back. I am in contact with Garmin about it.

Have you tried the download via Computer/Express or via watch/map manager?

I tried both, first express a few times then via watch and again express. 

So you still have FitforFree in the Netherlands?

I worked there when it was in the UK for 6 years.

@lindaW_rent I had the same problem with my Fenix 7 Pro solar, no maps were installed except the golf maps. Every installation I tried, failed around 70%. First thing you can try is uninstall Garmin Express and instal and try again. By doing this, I could instal 2 of 3 maps I wanted to have. For WesEurope, I had to use a different computer. Hopefully it will help.

Thanks Schmolle for your reply. I reinstalled garmin express and restarted the computer, also that didn't work. I didn't try another computer. 

Strange that both you and me had the 70% issue. Seems like there is an issue with the map.

In this case, I would definitely try another PC if you can. With another PC, it worked directly at the first trial. But I can not say why it worked. Just from the hardware side (RAM memory) they are the same. The most obvious difference is, that the PC  that worked was the one with windows 11 and the other with windows 10. How knows.
