Fenix 8 51mm AMOLED Battery Testing & Discharge %

Hi,

I purchased the Fenix 8 51mm AMOLED and have been testing the watch for a couple of weeks. I wanted to know if others are seeing similar battery discharge % based on similar use cases:

My watch is still under the return window and I wanted to confirm if these values make sense & would be great to know what others are getting based on similar use cases.

I charged mine last last Friday evening to100 percent, Bluetooth is always on.I don't have gesture or aod on.Pulse ox is on at night.I have brightness set to medium.

Since Friday I have done 2 rounds of Golf with GPS on and I do actually have gesture on when I'm playing.This morning I am still on 70 percent which I think is pretty good.

The rounds of golf were roughly 3 and a half hours and the battery dropped 4 percent each round.

51mm Amoled.

It is currently showing 18 days on 70 percent

Battery save and sleep mode between 10pm and 6am.

That sounds about right. Were your GPS settings set to default (dynamic)?

Yes they were,I'm currently on 69 percent as we speak,so almost 7 days on just over 30 percent isn't bad in my opinion.

I would be satisfied with your results. I have this watch from yesterday, charged it to 100% on the evening and in the morning there was 90%. 10% discharge overnight is way too much. When I started RUN activity in the morning, watch rebooted. Not very good experience so far. I have upgraded lo latest version yesterday and reset all settings back to stock to make sure no strange settings is copied.
