In most activities with Garmin I am happy that I do not have a connection. I do not need it, I am free from notifications. However, there are times when it would be helpful, and I would like to control everything from Garmin and not another device.
I am wondering how to add LTE to F8 with minimal weight. The easiest choice would be a lightweight phone (like iPhone Mini). But maybe there are even lighter options, I would like to avoid carrying the phone.
Do you have any ideas or maybe someone has found a solution? My suggestions (I do not know if they will work):
- another smartwatch with lte connected to F8 (is such a connection possible?)
- lte mobile router (what functionalities work in that configuration?)
- raspberry pi zero or some other non screen device
I would be grateful for any suggestions.
