Why active calories counter sometimes freezes or does not continue counting at the normal rate?
Why active calories counter sometimes freezes or does not continue counting at the normal rate?
Not sure what you call "normal rate", but the metabolic rate is directly derived from the heart rate, so a low heart rate could be a reason for slow (or even no) calories increments.
let me explain better. When I start my workout (brisk walking) the watch normally starts counting at a normal rate, approximately 4-5 active calories per 100 metres (or 40 - 50 akal per 1 km). On various occasions that rate continues the whole duration of the workout, but on others the counting freezes completely (for example, if it currently shows 200 akal, it remains like that). On other occasions it starts at the usual rate (i.e. 4-5 aKal per 100 m), then suddenly it starts counting 1 or 2 akal per 100, or even worse 2 akal per 300 m. Please note that I always follow the same route whilst walking, where it is completely flat land. I hope to have given you a better explanation. Thank you for your interest and for any guidance you may wish to pass on. George
What does the heart rate graph look like?
Dr Phil, please find attached the graphs on a one-week period.
I should have been clearer. What does the heart rate graph look like for specific activity when you say you have a problem?
To be honest I hardly look at the graph. I usually observe the heart rate on watch, and that's it. My concern is why the active calorie counter freezes. Sometimes I also note negative counting, for ex it shows 120 and then it goes 119 or 118 akacl.

Hard to tell, without seeing the activity heart rate graph. Post a link to the activity here, and perhaps we can find the reason.
Open the activity in Garmin Connect Web, make it visible to Everyone (see the padlock icon in the top right corner of the page), and post here the URL from the address line of the browser.
How do you extract it, please?

Which of the steps need more clarification?
If you mean extracting the URL, then select the address line, press the key combination Ctrl-C, and then paste it here using the key combination Ctrl-V.
If you are on a phone, and not on a computer, instead of the key combinations, you have to tap & hold on the selection, and then select Copy (and later Paste) from the context menu.
