Titanium Watch Band

I'm looking at getting the titanium watch band to dress my Fenix 8 when around town and not doing activities. I was wondering how the wrist based HRM worked with the titanium watch band and if the band required a lot of adjustment. Also, if I were to use the band while doing a walking activity, how well does the HRM work.

My plan is switch back to the silicone band when cycling or doing other strenuous activities.

Thx

  • HRM quality depends on how tight you put the band on.
You normally adjust that style of bands only once, at the beginning.
I got mine for Fenix 2 (I think, its already Quickfit) and am still using it, mostly on more casual dates. When I walk, oHRM is working well enough for me but I tend to change it for a nylon/felcro one for sleeping.

  • The genuine Garmin is comfortable and does not interfere with anything. It is comfortable to sleep with too. I try to keep it for dress occasions as I don't want to beat it up with day-to-day life.

  • I just got a Titanium Carbon Gray DLC Bracelet today for my Fenix 8 51mm and it is very comfortable, I had to remove 5 links. Feels lighter than the silicone bands. Also, it comes with a screwdriver to adjust the links.

Everything works as expected, it's a watch band :)
