Yes it will do,I had the same issue a few weeks cos is never done it before.Is the rower a concept 2?

If it is concept 2 ,it's sensors and accessories on the watch and connect to the sensor on the rower which will come up with an id, usually 4 numbers.

I think it is ant +ce or something like that on the rower.It will say connected on the watch once it's found it,you can also broadcast the heart rate from the watch as well and connect that also.

Ah right,it's probably much the same.if the rower is on and you search for it on the watch I'm sure it will find the sensor.

How Do I Connect My Rowing Machine to My Watch?

1. Press and hold UP/MENU (middle left button).

2. Scroll to or select  Settings.

3. (Optional) some watches may need to select Connectivity.

4. Scroll down and select Sensor & Accessories.

5. Select Add New.

6. Select Smart Trainer.

7. Begin rowing to wake up your trainer.

8. When found, select your rower to complete the pairing.

Thanks again, the rower did not detect my watch.

Think its the other way round,the watch will pick up the rower when it's searching for sensors.
