Satfix is very slow on fenix 8

Hello, I own a F8 47 saphir amoled. I always have issues with satfix. Every time when I start a activity, I have to wait between 1 and sometimes 5 minutes bevor I get the message that the gps is ready. Fw 12.32,

Maybe check this recent thread "gps fix takes +30sec". I had the same problem with my Fenix 8 47mm AMOLED. After replacement of the watch the GPS fix is now in a normal range around 10 seconds.

You wrote you have FW 12.32 installed, so this must be the beta firmware? Betas 12.32 and 12.34 have GPS version 2.10 installed, the current official FW 12.22 runs with GPS version 2.11. Maybe this helps ..

Having to replace a 1.000 euros watch 3 months after launched doesn’t seem a nice way around it..

I'm sorry, my firmware is the 12.22, I've never installed a beta. It was my fault! I have the problem with the slow satfix since 3 month and I hoped it can be fixed by an update. I think that it was okay at the first week, but sometimes between the first updates the satfix getting slow don't know exactly when... I hoped to get another answer to solve the problem, because I wont send my watch back to GARMIN...

Check the thread i posted above, maybe there is something you can use to solve the problem. Check if the Ephemeris is up to date, maybe reset the watch to factory defaults. Else i wouldn't accept such an expensive watch to malfunction in one of its main features which is GPS positioning. I would definitely contact support.
