Touch screen activation/deactivation during activity

Hi there!

I created a key shortcut to deactivate the touch screen (lock is also deactivated) and it no longer seems to be working during an activity. I'm on beta 12.31. Maybe I'm missing something...

Edit : ok, a reboot, seems to solve the problem. Now I can disable the touch screen with a shortcut during an activity.

I am sorry to hear you are having trouble with the touchscreen. The settings for Touch screen are found in the Focus Settings. Menu, Watch Settings…

Hi,

till time when you open any CIQ widget :) Then touch will work again during activity even though you disabled it.

Hey there! Thanks for your reply. I apologize if I wasn't clear — What I meant to say is that when I start an activity, like running, and disable the touch screen (with a shortcut), sometimes the touch screen will remain activated even though I've deactivated it. This strange behavior seems to resolve with a reboot. Maybe it's a bug?

Hi,

yeah turn off and turn on the device solves the problem and touch works as you have set it in settings. But you can't open any CIQ widget in meantime. If you open it, then touch will work again.

Garmin-Laurie this bug already appeared in FW 12.22 and is still present. When will it be recognized? Brychu and I and many other people reported this issue in detail.
