Every time I've tried setting up ECG on the Garmin Fenix 8 51mm AMOLED I get to the step where the watch and phone both give the same instructions about putting your thumb and index finger on the outer metal band. I do that but the watch just sits there. In the short demo on the phone it shows that happening and the watch instantly goes to an ECG screen but mine never does.

I was on a beta for a long time and had the same issue so finally got that removed but still having the issue. I'm in the US and my connect account has always been registered in the US. The ECG feature has never worked since I got the watch.
