Gesture covering the screen with palm does not work.... How to turn off notification center?

When I put my palm on the screen it does not come back to the watch-face screen. Is there a setting I have to enable? On my Fenix 7SS it worked out of the box...

Also how can I turn off the notification center? When I press the up button it goes to my notifications.I want to have the same behavior as my Fenix 7SS when I press the up button to go into my last widget glance...

    Wild that the palm to cover thing is still bugged. Works most of the time but not all the time.

    No problem with palm on the screen.  It's been working correctly since I got it months ago.

    Yea and? I got mine a week ago, and this is the SECOND F8 I tried that does the same thing... it hasn't worked consistently for more than a couple hours. Yea it works sometimes but also doesn't a lot of other times. No need to keep posting it works for you, go and enjoy your day.
