For the time being, I do not use voice calls due to extremely poor hearing, especially in a rural environment. How can you use this half-baked service. For 2 months now, Garmin claims that they are looking into the matter, but nothing, most likely they are lying...
Please help. For garmin fenix 8 51 amoled. The first week I bought the watch it showed calls and messages. Then it stopped showing calls and displayed messages properly. Then I turned off and on the watch and it would work again in day or two and then stop showing calls again. After that, even turning off the watch didn't help. After the last update garmin connect worked again for two or three days and stopped again. It does not display calls at all, but it displays messages properly!

Are call notifications turned on in Garmin Connect Mobile (look for notifications in your device on Garmin Connect Mobile)?
Also, are call notifications set to on the settings on your phone OS?
when I answer a call after a minute of talking on the fenix 8 it switches back to the cell phone.
Since the call is connected to your watch via Bluetooth, It could be losing connecting during the call which would switch the call back to your phone. I try removing the watch from Garmin Connect Mobile and then repairing. Also, check for any updates for Garmin Connect Mobile. Lastly, shut off your phone and your watch and restart them.
Might not help but, it is worth a try
