Fenix 8 AMOLED rebooting while golfing

Played golf today with a Fenix 8 amoled 51mm and twice it rebooted while entering my score on a hole or immediately after entering my score - like after tapping in my number of putts or something Has anyone encountered this?

I played 18 holes today with my Fenix 7X 51mm SS and my CT10 sensors and everything worked perfectly and the watch never rebooted. That has been my experience all this past year.

yes, I mentioned I am on the current stable 11.90 firmware. No other updates are pending.

Once again the watch rebooted while playing golf today on the 7th hole and I lost all my shot data from the first six holes even though I selected “resume round” after the reboot.. I’m on the 12.14 beta since the 11.90 stable release was rebooting too This is seriously aggravating.

Mine did it for the first time yesterday,it did actually save the data though when I clicked on resume round.Obviously a bug in the software.

It did it when edited shots on the 16th.

I did golf yesterday and there was no issue. Everything was running as expected. There might be something that triggering the re-boot with yours.

It's the first time it's done it in 7 rounds,might be just a blip.

Not sure if it helps with the watch, I do soft reset once in a while. I soft reset when charging the watch. I just turn the watch off before connecting the charger. Then just plug in the charger, the watch will turn on during charging.

I've noticed the option to disable the touch is back in the golf settings,it wasn't there a couple of weeks ago.Its handy if it's raining or if your sleeve is over the watch.

Other than the random reboot a couple of days ago it's been fine ,I'll see how it goes on Friday with my new custom fit MIZUNO jpx925 HL irons
