Fenix 8 Broadcast Heart Rate on ANT+ Slow connection or keeps disconnecting on Edge 840

Currently, it takes the Fenix 8 about 2-3 minuted to get connected using ANT+

However once connected, the edge will display "searching" and will have to wait for another couple of minutes for Broadcast Heart Rate to be reconnected.

I've gotta change the Connection Type and select BLE in the Sensor Details option on Main page of the Edge 840.

Previously using FR955 and no issues on the Broadcast Heart Rate using both ANT+ or BLE.

Appreciate if Garmin can look into this issue and provide with a fix soon as my friends are long gone into the trails and I'm still fiddling with all the devices.

I have the same issue.
Fenix 8, v11.90
Edge 840 - v24.90

Multiple attempts to connect by prompting the edge by pushing the connect button for the heart rate sensor.

Never had this issue with my Fenix 6, and it never ever required prompting. As soon as my Fenix 6 was broadcasting the heart rate, the Edge 840 would connect.

I have solved in this way:
On Fenix 8 I set to broadcast the heart to rate to ON - Watch settings -> Health -> Wrist heart rate sensor-
On Edge 1040 just add sensor and it found fenix 8 as heart rate sensor.
