Recently bought the Fenix 8 solar, in the US, and I can't find the ECG app for the life of me.
I've looked at all the other posts and restarted, removed from phone, etc. It was just never in the setup.
Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks, the ECG app is not in setup. I've already tried to troubleshoot and disconnect my watch from the phone and reset it up. Still not there
Not sure if this is your situation, but I had this problem and figured out that I had to remove my former watch (Fenix 7X) from the app entirely. In the connect app/devices, forget both devices, then re-add the fenix 8. When I went back through setup, the ECG setup procedure was one of the steps.

Make sure you have location permissions enabled for the Garmin Connect app on your smartphone. Refer to the manufacturer’s instructions to enable location permissions.
I have an Epix 2 51mm and a Fenix 8 51mm Sapphire connected to my app. You can have multiple watches connected.
My Fenix 8 is also selected as the Primary Wearable and Primary Training Device.
Did you try completely removing the Fenix 8 from Garmin Connect APP and run setup again?
Otherwise, I highly recommend calling Garmin support they are very helpful and will spend time with you on the phone.
