Fenix 8 background white color option

Hi,

there is really no way to change Garmin Fenix background to a white?

Im used to the white background and to me it seems to be much better and much more readable.

Is Garmin planning to give it to us in the future updates?

Im seriously thinking about returning the watch just because of this...

It’s really annoying! The best I came up with is using the GLANCE watch face from the store and made the background white with everything else black. Hopefully in the next couple of updates we get that…

The lack of white background is soooo frustrating. I also almost returned my f8 mip. I am just hoping they fix this. The screen is almost unreadable.

White Background would drain the Battery rapidly on OLED, it would be not smart from the engineers to add such an option because of the many complaints from customers who dont understand the technology…

Sure, but why apply the same limitations to MIP displays?

On MIP´s its not an issue. Maybe when the developers are less busy in fixing bugs and enough customers demanding it they will bring this option.

I thought it’s obvious I’m talking about MIP. Wouldn’t make sense on OLED.

I requested for white background for activities on amoled,maps have white background on amoled & if it drains battery more that's on you but it's more visable in sunlight for activities

so true! its very frustrating. I'm almost in a edge to return fenix 8 solar because of this reason where I cannot have the white backgrounds in the same watch face which has white background in the the previous watches. With white background we didn't have to turn on the backlight to check the time, but now it is so dark that we always have to have that gesture on enabled. Not happy!!!

Garmin should have given the options to the users like it has in previous fenix versions. JUST LET US CHOOSE!!! DON'T FORCE US.

Nope...i am actually thinking to return it back due to this reason.
