Just got Fenix 8x today, everything seems to be ok apart from the voice commands.
It says processing and then just goes back to the watch face.Any ideas anyone?

Yes,it on 11.89,seems to intermittent.Sometimes they work sometimes they don't.Everything else is fine at the moment.
Does the microphone otherwise work ok (for notes and voice calls?).

I have an accent and sometimes it's a hit or miss. Background noise makes it harder (ie. if I have TV running in the background, it often just sticks in processing, not knowing when the command ends). Speaking louder and directly to the watch seems to help.
edit: There are two failure modes btw. If the processing message starts soon after you stop speaking, that probably just means it can't understand you. If it stays in listening mode for a long time and then goes to processing, it probably cannot hear you properly because of the background noise or other issues.
Seems to work for calls,not tried the notes yet.
I think you may be right though,the TV was on in the background,I've just tried it again now and it's much better .Still not perfect but like you said it may be just a matter of speaking clear and louder.
I had this problem as well on both the Fenix 8 and Tactix 8. Customer service was no help either, but I managed to track down the issue. For whatever reason when the watch was controlling music from my phone the voice commands would just sit at listening. Once I put it back on My Music everything worked fine.

My microphone died. I couldn’t get anything done via voice commands or phone assistant.
I discovered it when i once tried to record a voice memo, something i never did before. It was blank.
I then tried to use the watch as a hands free phone device, i could hear but couldn’t be heard.
