Fenix ​​​​8 system software 11.89 screen wake gesture not working.

It's working for me just fine.  Some said it is too slow.  For me it's just fast enough, maybe a half a second waking up when I moved my wrist.  Mine is 47mm AMOLED version on 11.89

I had the same Problem with my Fenix 8 47mm, that the gesture didn‘t work. After restarting the watch it worked like normal.

Some days it is fast and Some days it takes longer, random . Today touch to awake worked after sleep mode and yesterday it did not. Also random. I hate that its all random problems, i do nt understand 

For me it is like this: 

Gesture Mode is turned on at all times, however: 

a) Screen: off --> turns off and DOESN'T turn on when I turn my wrist. 

b) Screen: on --> dims and turns on when I turn my wrist. 

c) Screen: on and DND turned on --> Screen turns off and turns on when I turn my wrist. 

How do I use it without the DND-workaround? Because the gesture itself works perfectly fine. 

Not working to me as well now , I but watch and the updates a bad 

*** updates  I tired of that   LG microphone not work . Insta360  not work properly after updates now a *** garmin  !!! I not purchased this watch for updates if they not tested it not should give to updates  . 

Garmin should work evening *** single day its a Garmin  I don't want any *** new updates    that is my last Garmin hope they loose costumers  and they take a lesson  market is full ot other brands
