Wrong weather in Tyrol Austria

Hello, Unfortunately the problem has existed since the Fenix 5, became the Info developers are working on the problem. Otherwise very happy with the watch but it can't be that difficult to read out the correct data? Now I have a clock for 1300 but the wrong weather. Of course I can add a location but then I always have to change the selection. Is there finally a plan for this? A fixed location in the app no longer works

Ich war auch am Wochenende in Innsbruck mit der F8 und hatte genau das selbe Problem. Wetterdaten waren einfach falsch. Zuhause sind sie wieder in Ordnung.

wär echt verdammt spannend von wo er die Wetterdaten nimmt ... wschl. irgend ein 100 Einwohner-Kaff in den USA dass auch Innsbruck heißt oder so ...

I have a similar issue with a town we often visit on vacation. The temperature Garmin Weather captures there is ridiculously low - usually by 20 or more degrees. I think that's because it gets it from a station that is somewhere high in the mountains and in the shade. Other providers like OWM show an accurate reading, but the Garmin one is crap in that particular area.

Yes Garmin, why no possibility to store an API in the Menu? Like many other Apps do?!

Hello everyone,
unfortunately I have not been very active in this forum since my problem was not really solved. Unfortunately, the problem with the weather is apparently not so easy for Garmin to solve. I've been working on this with Chris from customer service for a while now. I would simply write to him. Also, if you search the forum, you can see that there are a lot of problems with the weather. In the past, there was often talk of application errors on the part of others in the forum or ‘everything works great for me’ messages, but unfortunately the reality is different. Here in Tyrol you can easily reconstruct this by simply setting the location and then you will see that the weather data is incorrect. My Fenix 7 is currently showing highs of 20 and lows of 9 - it's currently 3 degrees here (high for today from the internet is 10) - so it's way off the mark and bad for an outdoor watch, as I actually need it when I'm out and about. We also have a few weather stations in our neighbourhood - so it can't be that. Apparently the error occurs more often around the world than just here. My request - join forces with Chris from customer service and draw attention to the problem. And it seems to help temporarily to install a different weather app on the watch.

I don't believe Garmin Customer Service frequents these forums other than the one designated to do so. You will have better luck contacting the person directly as you have in the past.
