FENIX 8 51MM SOLAR CRASH ISSUE

Yes my Fenix 8 solar at this point does not power on and if it does it goes into boot loop and shut downs after a while 

Start a chat with Garmin Support and have them submit a bug report.  Then roll back to version 12.35 software.  A downloadable version with instructions can be found in the Beta Forums here:  https://forums.garmin.com/beta-program/fenix-8-series/f/announcements/398518/beta-version-13-12---check-for-updates-only Scroll down towards the bottom of the page to find the instructions on how to roll back, and the downloadable files.  You will need to connect to Garmin Express on your computer to move the files over to your Garmin watch, then follow the instructions in the link.  It sounds daunting but it isn't  

And when you are in the chat with Garmin support make sure you tell them how disappointed you are that they rolled out this software without testing on Fenix 8 Solar first. 

In my previous post I recommended rolling back to Software version 12.35.  That advice still stands, but in order to do that you will first have to get the watch out of it's boot loop by connecting to Garmin Express on your computer.  It will eventually recover when connected to Garmin Express.  You will need to do a factory reset either through the Garmin app on your phone or through the watch menu. Once you've completed the steps for a factory reset, you can do the steps in my other response to roll back to software version 12.35
