Dive function in beta?

Is there any timeline for when the beta firmware will become General Release? And more to the point when the dive function will be available? It was kind of the whole point of moving from the 7x Pro to the 8....

I do a lot of cold water swimming so need to have the beta at the moment. However I will be going diving soon and would really like to have this feature enabled...

Not in 11.87. You can ad the activity but when you try to start it you get a message saying that dive activity is not available in beta and do not dive with this device.

It's odd that their two new enhanced/new features are disabled in the beta.

Dive is available in beta 11.84. The problem is that gesture doesn’t work in general release or beta. Can anyone confirm the gesture issue?

Form me diving works, only ECG is disabled.

Don’t worry they don’t care if it is or isn’t in beta. Also, since gesture doesn’t work anyway you can’t even use it? How do you use it when you can’t see the screen without pressing a button?

I’ve used it on several dives already and it’s perfectly fine.

Can’t confirm. If the Amoled display automatically dims down under water, you can only activate it with pressing a button, because gesture for light does not work (I was told that this works for the Garmin descent models).
