Battery Drain since Update 11.64

Hallo,

I never had problems with unusual battery drain till the latest Update. The Fenix 8 Amoled 47 mm usually lasted up to 10 day with activated Puls OX during night. Now I went from 100 to 30 % within 60 Hours without any activity.

Anyone else having issues with the battery life after the latest update?

Yes, but I couldn't find a battery related Post after the 11.64 update. Please enlighten me.

Did you try a soft reset? Holding the top left button down until the watch powers off (about 30 seconds). I have the same watch but my battery life is superb. Been 6 days since I charged it and with 3x 1 hour long activities I am on 59%. Several days of that have been on 11.64. I think I installed it late Friday. I don’t use the ox sensor at night.

Same here, no battery issues on 11.64 after the update I charged my watch to 100% and did a soft reset after that I did 7 workouts (running, bike ride and strength,some more than 2 hours) with mulitple sensors connected (stryd, cadance, speed and hr band). It has been almost a week now and I have 68% left (no ox sensor at night).

Update September 25, 2024:

Our engineers have discovered an issue that was causing incident detection to remain after, after being used in an activity. This was causing a significant increase in the battery drain. The BETA software version 11.81 has been released to correct this. So if you are experiencing this issue, you can install this update.
