Looking at moving up to Fenix 7 Pro or Fenix 8 from a 945 LTE.
I use a Garmin inReach Messenger connected to my watch My hope has always been that if the device detected an incident, that not only would my emergency contacts be notified but, also the devise would trigger and SOS on the InReach.
Since, at this time that is not an option in the software, I was hoping that there would be something like "Hey Garmin InReach SOS" that I could speak directly into the Fenix 8. Right now, the only way to activate voice commands is with the push of a button which depending on the emergency may not be possible.
I realize this is speculation on the part of any response but, do any of you believe that Garmin will make future enhancements to their voice commands to allow hands free?
