Lap Alert - voiceover only says lap time

Hi.
Does it work for any of you to say ‘Lap Alert’ correctly in the secondary field?
I have the default ‘lap time’ set in the primary field and ‘average heart rate’ in the secondary field (I also tried ‘heart rate’ alone). After a lap, the lector says the time of the respective lap correctly but no longer says the data (heart rate) from the additional field absolutely.
Just before writing this post, I carried out a test by swapping the contents of the primary and secondary fields, i.e. I put ‘heart rate’ in the primary and ‘lap time’ in the secondary.
Slight surprise - this test showed that after a lap, the lecturer pronounces the content ... of the secondary field, skipping the primary field.

So the conclusion is: after a lap, the voiceover only utters one message and that is only ‘lap time’.

  • I have now dived into a more detailed comparison of the FR955 watch settings (on which such notifications worked) compared to the fenix8 Amoled on which only the ‘lap time’ notification works.
Well, the section responsible for this on the FR955 was the ‘Sound Monitors’ section in which several different parameters related to laps could be set.

In the fenix8 Amoled I do not find a ‘Sound Monits’ section at all like in the ‘FR955’:

  • I dug into those voice notifications!

    You should go to:
    Settings/Modes of distinction/Activity/Voice notifications/.
and here you set the alerts you are interested in (pace/speed, heart rate, power - with different parameters for each category).

But they have hidden/buried this in F8 ;)
