Why on earth is there still no sleepcycle alarm clock in the garmin watch series ?

It can be relatively straightforward though... If you're moving, then you're probably not in deep sleep, and it's probably ok to wake you up.
I have the same opinion (through my knowlege as a engineer and watch enthusiast) than 5737316 . The garmin sleepcycle detection during nightsleep is more than good enough to wake you up outside of a deep…
I've literally had it work using just the accelerometer of a phone that's put on my bed next to my pillow, over a decade ago. I've had smart alarm work fine on a Pebble watch. I refuse to accept that a…

The garmin sleepcycle detection during nightsleep is more than good enough to wake you up outside of a deep sleep phase. And no garmin feature is perfect... when I prepare food in the kitchen and I do certain hand moves it counts steps... So the good solution would be integrate the smart clock and let the user decide wheter its workin for him or not. I would rather choose a bad smart clock than non. because then chances are obviously higher to get woken up in a deep sleep phase..
No point in sending it to Garmin
I agree.
or they are too perfectionist in their approach, trying to do it perfectly from the start instead of "good enough", but then again nap and sleep tracking aren't exactly in a great state at the moment.
Obviously they are not perfectionists, as you see from implementation of nap tracking. So there is another reason for not implementing the feature you want.
that makes no sense
