Voice notes during activity - how to not forget it?

Fēnix 8 voice notes feature could be a feature worth to me to update from my fēnix 6 pro.

During sports activities (e.g. mountain biking) I often have thoughts I would like to record without taking my phone out of the back bag.

As i understand, the fēnix 8 does allow to record voice notes.

But how to ensure I remember afterwards that I recorded a voice notes?

On my iPhone I have a shortcut to record a voice note and send that voice note to my private email to ensure it gets not forgotten.

What does fēnix 8 offer to not forget a voice note?

At the moment - nothing, I'm not even sure how you'd get them off the device.

IIRC, DC Rainmaker said that Garmin was working on a way of syncing them with Garmin connect. That might be useful…

agree. it would even help if the notes would be stored on the watch in mp3-format so that it could be transferred when connected to a laptop as it is possible with music, podcasts, etc.

Thanks for your helpful answer (to know, that by now no notification mechanism is in place).

By now, I could think of following notification mechanism:
- Email
- Watch face showing an icon about existing voice note
- Notification in Garmin Connect as mentioned

But there are may more possiblites...

You could even have the option of having the voice notes converted to text in Garmin Connect (or on their servers) and emailed out to you / stored in Garmin Connect.

Garmin is very weak when it comes to more smart features. I doubt they will introduce something like this. I will be pleasantly surprised if they do at least this syncing of notes with the phone.
