Issue with notifications - watch reboots (fenix 8 - 51mm, Amoled)

After deleting several notifications from the app, the fenix 8 turns off and restarts.
Here's how it happens:
You receive several notifications from one app - e.g. kudos from Stava or Connect. You access these notifications from the watch face and read them, then delete them one by one. When you dismiss the last one, the watch turns off and restarts. Checked several times.
I haven't noticed the same problem when accessing notifications via the UP key.

Firmware 11.60.

Happens to me also and even more frustrating rebooted during the great north run today. Clearly software not up to it so money back time and back to my old watch

Update October 9, 2024:

Our engineers are aware of a concern that may causes the watch to reboot when dismissing notifications. Beta SW version 11.81 was released that may address this concern. If you are experiencing this issue, you may consider installing the latest BETA (currently 11.87) update to receive this change.

Same here! And why are we being pushed to install betas? Aren’t they inherently more unstable? Garmin, after charging a premium for a watch, is this how we get treated, it’s unacceptable!

Garmin-Lauriethank you for taking care of this matter. I believe that the matter was resolved in software 11.81 (I currently have 11.87 installed). However, I must say that despite the new software, the error appeared again when deleting several email notifications. Exactly the same situation as before - deleting several notifications and after the last one - crash.

It was a few days ago and for sure after installing 11.81 (unfortunately I do not remember which version of software it was exactly 11.81, 11.82, ... or 11.87). So far, the situation has not occurred again but I do not know if there was such a circumstance. I will pay attention to it.

You are not at all obligated, or even encouraged to install BETA software. I would only recommend trying this, if you are experiencing the issue, and do not want to wait for a full Public software roll out. You are correct. Beta software is in its testing phase, and this may some with other concerns. However, I always want to update you and make you aware of the options you have available.

I opened my Fenix 8 and have already had it happen twice in 12 hours. I loved my Forerunner but was ready for an upgrade. I'm thinking it's going back. Super bummed! I am running software version 11.89.

What we need is a stable public release that is long overdue, which solves all the issues (among which incorrect time zones for some cities). Options, as you call them, that you're not even encouraging to install, what's the point of offering them? Correct me if I'm wrong?
