Fenix 8 Dead

At 10:30am 2/9 My Fenix 8 died, as if it had run out of power, although before it died it was showing a full battery. I tried to switch the watch back on but got no response. When I plugged the watch into a power source the blue triangle appeared and the watch booted up. However, when I removed the watch from the power source it died again. I could not perform a Unprompted Reset, as the watch away from a power source was behaving as if it has no power and when I plugged into a power source the LIGHT button was not active. I could use the LIGHT button to switch off the watch as long as the watch was connected to a power source. But I could not use the LIGHT button to switch the watch on even if connected to a power source.

With the watch connected to a power source, I was able to do a system full reset which the watch cycled through, rebooted and connected to the power source worked normally. However, as soon as I removed the power source the watch went back to its dead state. With the watch plugged into my Macbook, it connected to Garmin Express, but again once I removed the watch from the Macbook it died.

Yesterday the watch stopped booting up while connected to a power source and now is not moving out of cycling the blue triangle.

I am concerned as I contacted Garmin on Tuesday as yet have not yet received a reply to my email.
