Fenix 8, HR Sensor switch not working to HRM Pro

if you disable the Wrist HR sensor during an activity in „Fitness“ you immediately also disconnect your HRM Pro or HRM Pro Plus wireless belt sensor. You have to manually reconnect your belt to have shown any HR in the display during the activity again.

Do you have the "Auto Discover" turned on in Sensors? I only ask because mine would not connect to my HRM Pro automatically if that was turned off. I don't actually know, however, if that really solved it--or if it was just a coincidence.

hi, yes it’s on…has no effect on the auto disconnect when you turn off the wrist sensor

Bringing an old thread back to life, but I have this same problem and it's been persistent over multiple software updates, unpairing and repairing etc.

Did you find a solution?

Are you pairing it as Bluetoogh or ANT+? Mine is paired as ANT+ and has worked great. As a rule, I always pair ANT+ if available to the other device, and Bluetooth if not. (e.g., Apple Watch)

Yup, I'm using ant+ on both the HRM-dual and on the older HRM-SS which only has ant+

I've used these same monitors and straps with my Epix, 255 and Instinct 2X and haven't had problems with any of those watches; only with the F8.
