How to use 3rd party maps and Custom Maps?

Yes there is, but ONLY is you have a third party OSM map on the Fenix 8, same as there is NO TopoActive layer option if you have REMOVED the TopoActive maps... I know this as I have my own third party OSM map on mine, running 11.60.

I didn't know that you create your own OSM maps as well. I'll have to look into those once I get the Fenix 8! Where's the proper place to talk about those?

I was told by one of Polish dealer that you have to change theirs map name to CAPITAL LETTERS:  like   TOPOMAP.img   from the small ones in order to see the map choice in menu.  Other customs maps deosnt work as well. Tried CAPITAL name but still no option.

You don't need specific details. Just try to add any 3rd party map. I have the same problem in Enduro 3. Earlier I had Fenix 7 Pro and there was no problem.

I am also wondering about this.

It might well be that many of the problems don't reach the developers because the moderators here don't understand them and ask for sense less pictures and videos of all those issues. That would definitely not be necessary if they ever had tried on their own and on a real watch.

Ok i put a custom map in the custom map folder and I cannot see it anywhere. When I go to this country this layer will show auto away

Custom maps are KMZ files, IMG files go in the GARMIN folder.
