Quick replies don't work with Facebook Messenger (Android)

same issue here with fenix 8, it did work about 2-3 week ago for a while... i was a bit surprised, then it stopped working agian.

I dont think it matters which Garmin watch you have.

For me replies to SMS is working fine as others have reported the same.

But a few months ago replies via Facebook Messenger dont go through, even though the watch says it does.

FR965, Descent G1, Descent Mk3i, none work.

I think there was a FB Messenger update recently, something to do with encryption, and possibly broke the connection between FBM and GC ?

Did some searching online and 99% sure that this is a FB Messenger issue, following this thread (se link), it seems that people with Android and Samsung Watch are having the exact same issue, message shows as "sent" on the watch, but nothing is sent, and it works fine with SMS messages and other apps:

Not sure cause the like reply works,  the thumbs Works, but not the quick replies like " yes,no, thanks" etc

I installed an older version of facebook messenger and now its ok!!!

I used the "Report Technical Problem" menu option under settings in FB Messenger to highlight the issue.
