This week end I have used the Navigation a lot, for testing the F8 before going to unknown cities this week.
Navigation on my Fenix has always been very handy, because it is discreet and accurate.
On the F8, in part of Paris I know very well I can enter the address on the the saved location on the watch, on Garmin Explorer and now with Apple Maps by using the the share button.
It send the waypoint to my watch and propose to guide me there.
All good.
Then the calculation is very long.
Then "Route calculation error. Missing routable roads in this area".
OK I also use one layer of Talky Toaster Map because there is much more informations and there is no all those POI pollution from the Garmin Map.
(SO much useless POI you can even not see the streets anymore in the center of cities !)
Even I got three times a very strange behavior from the F8.
The navigation has started for 15 minutes, everything is alright and I follow the path in pink calculated by the F8 and suddenly :"Route calculation error. Missing routable roads in this area"
Which stop the navigation.
And every request for novaigating will result with the same message.
It is tedious especially when you already know the destination BUT you just need an ETA or ETE (which I have not found on the F8 yet) to communicate.
Am I the only one with that issue ?
