First & foremost, this is a new watch and there shouldn’t be a single person who bought the watch that doesn’t expect hiccups in the beginning of a release. That said, I’d like to create a thread where we can centralized peoples problems based on your own usage. Maybe this helps Garmin as long as this thread stays on track and avoids arguments

Diving App - 1. The Compass heading (top widget) is too small, it needs to increase in size. 2. No Fly Time (Surface Interval) to include the option of a 24hr (no fly time). This is an option on the MK3i. 3. When you hit the button combo to save a heading, the screen occasionally changes.

    I discovered the following bugs. 1-speaker is extremely quiet when talking on the phone even at volume 10. when playing music it reaches about 70db. so I think it's a software bug. 2- Tempe sensor keeps disconnecting. The tempe sensor overwrites the temperature in the temperature widget for only a few seconds, then the temperature affected by the body will start again. 3- reset the device when deleting the notification. 4- device reset when switching map appearance. 5- missing button sound volume setting. when the System sounds are set to 30-40%, the button sounds are extremely loud. 6- the system lags a lot even when browsing widgets. 7- loading the map takes a very long time when I move my finger on the display and move the map. respectively, only the map of the display size is loaded. but as soon as I move the map, it takes a very long time to load the details. maybe it would help to load a larger area than just the size of the display.

    I want to ask another question. diving function does not support T2 transmitter. yes, I know the diving function is limited to 40m, but I think it would be great if I could buy a T2 transmitter for my scuba diving.     I don't think so. fenix 8 is more for recreational divers. those who want to dive professionally and to depths of 50 meters and more, buy the Descent series. however, since the Fenix ​​8 is more of a commercial watch and probably also more recreational divers who want to dive to small depths like me or on vacation, it would be great to allow them to buy a T2 sensor as well. and those whose diving interests them and want to go deeper will buy Descent after a while. so two watches have been sold for one person :)

    Two bugs noted:

    1) when I'm trying to set my location (town) manually, after accepting verified location - the OS reboots itself

    2) I'm currently at the mountains, so I'm traveling with my car and for short distances there is a big altitude difference - 500 meters in 10 kilometers. The barometer freaks out and every time when I'm traveling send me an storm alert Grin

    - Continuous beep signal ONLY when the Trail Run is active. It is impossible to continue to do a run with that sound. 

    - Buttons sounds can not be disabled in some of the activities. For example, It doesn't sound when I press start but sounds when I take lap, stop or save in run activity but not in Walk (exactly like I set). Only vibe is enabled in system and focus.

    -Strange nap figures.

    Loads of issues - most of which are detailed in this long thread.  Expected some bugs, but surprised at how many there are on this watch.  Can't see it mentioned (I may well have missed it though, as this is a long thread!), but Breathwork doesn't work as it should.

    Breathwork - when selecting different techniques it seems to always give the pattern for 'relax and focus (short)' - and following the practise, regardless of the technique selected it shows as 'relax and focus' within the Connect app.

    Elevation graph looks pretty buggy to me 

    it was just a complete flat run
