Fenix 8 AMOLED doesn’t startup.

I was hiking with my watch and I was unable to stop the activity. The start/stop button didn’t do anything. 
I choose to turn the watch of because that was the only possibility. Now the watch doesn’t startup anymore. It freezes at the blue triangle. 
Mac doesn’t recognize the watch. What can I do?

  • Decided to speak with Garmin, as a week on I had not had a reply email. When I got through to customer support I was told someone would be free to speak with me in 30 mins and would I like to wait. I did not wait and reluctantly I have now started a return and refund. I had hoped by speaking with someone I could get a swop not a refund. 

  • So I got an exchange for my watch because it stayed in blue triangle loop. At this moment I’m hiking with my watch again (hiking activity) and the new watch stopped working. 
    same as the previous one. Tried to stop the activity, watch did not react to start/stop button. Switched of now it’s in blue triangle loop again. 
    I wil return this watch en ask my money back. It has to much software problems and in my opinion the UI/UX of the 7 pro series was way better. 

  • I decided to upgrade from a Fenix 6 to the Fenix 8.  It worked fine for a couple hours and then the screen went black.  It appears to restart, but the screen is blank.  I am returning the watch tomorrow.  Totally disappointed Garmin would put a product out with this flaw.
