Send Device to Strava

Previous activities uploaded the device to Strava but my activities recorded on the Fenix 8 lists no device when viewed on Strava. Minor point I know but if you don’t mention these things they don’t get put right. Device shows fine when viewing the activity in Garmin Connect.

Check the forums from when the F7 etc were released. It takes a week or three for Strava to catch up. It's a Strava issue.

Sometimes I see it, sometimes I don’t. It’s a Strava issue so if you’re really bothered contact Strava.

Mine now shows in Strava yes.

FYI it seems like a minor point, but there's actually a real impact when your device isn't displayed in strava (meaning it's not in strava's database yet): elevation from the device won't be used for activities, but strava will recalculate the elevation instead (just as if you'd used the "Correct Elevation" feature).

It's not clear to me whether device elevation will be used if Strava doesn't display your device name for a given activity, but the device is actually already in strava's database (due to the fact that others are seeing the device name, or that you see the device name for some activities.) I would guess not, but I'm not sure.
