First run impressions

A couple of observations from my side after my first run this morning: the new watch (upgraded from Epix Pro 51) is generally a joy to use and feels faster, however there are a few things that need fixing:

-while the new UI is really pleasant to use, there are some bugs and slow downs to iron out

-my AirPods Pro initially refused to connect and was having some weird issues like one earbud stopping to play music or distorting- fixed by pressing pause and then play

-I also had the watch reboot as I was trying to find out why I couldn’t change songs

it is fluid in map navigation o it is slow like in the epix pro?

Same Here.

1. Had a reboot during navigation.

2. Connecting Headphones Takes forever, requires several attempts and requires one click more than with past watches (when pressing play, it Starts to Play through build in Speaker instead of searching for connectable device - btw. No one will ever use that Speaker for Music)

3. Connecting HRM Pro+ didn't work. Had to delete and reconcect it

Took me 15min before I could Start the run.

Can you explain what you mean feels faster? Cause i think 8 have the same cpu as epix pro and 7 and disconnections from airpods already show that sign.

The UI feels super fast and smooth when navigating around the menus. Epix Pro was annoyingly slow and laggy.

I had no issues with connecting sensors. Had 2X Stryd pods, my HRM Pro+ and the AirPods Pro connected at the same time. Only problem was what I described in my original post.

Yes and even the compass is smoother than on my old Epix 51mm...
Same chip but better smoothness.
