Sleep schedule turn off ?

There has never been an option in any of the previous watches in the Fenix line to completely turn off sleep settings.

I've been a Samsung user for years and finally moved over to Garmin with the Fenix 8 51mm Amoled and I'm loving it but...

As Kinus I would love to turn off the sleep schedule as I'm a Shift Worker and my hrs are all over the place and different start times every day. It's a massive shame that so many people have asked for this option and have been asking for this for years. I bet there are 1000's of shift workers who hate this sleep schedule. When shift workers goto bed we put our phones and wareables on Silent so we can sleep.

Why can't Garmin give us this option? Especially for us shift workers. I'm not gonna set my sleep schedule everytime I'm going to bed,5-6 times a week.

Garmin has never offered a solution for shift workers.

When I was still working shifts, I submitted it several times since 2016 via the "share ideas" page and Product Support.

It was never implemented.

I stopped sending emails to the shared ideas page and started talking to the wall instead around 2020

So are Garmin just focusing on "day workers" who do 9 to 5 jobs and get every weekend off.

It's a damn shame you and probably 1000's of people have b33n asking this and Garmin hasn't delivered.

I'm also not liking the "adaptive" screen dimming at night,as we are shift workers and work at night so we need a brighter display.

Do u know if there's a way to turn this off mate?

I hope you are kiddiing !There are definitely athletes who work shifts.

Is Garmin joking, and has been for years?

Do you know that this year's UTMB winner has a day job and is on par with those who have running as a job? No, he's not a shift worker, but tell me what's wrong with being one and still being an athlete?

I know some firefighters who work shifts and are more of an athlete than some who wear a fenix from 9-5 in the office.
