The sedentary warning has been turned on but the move bar is not displayed directly below the first page in the step counting widget. Is it normal?

On the fenix 7 there was a default watchface with the move bar, and I'll have to check later but I think you can still view it without connect iq if you open the steps glance. You can definitely still…
I had the move bar on my fenix 7s. I think I had to select a specific watch face to find it. Now I have 8s, and there doesn't even seem to be a move alert.
Garmin seems to gradually remove it from Watch face first, and now from glances too which wasn't a nice surprise for me. I've tried to post a suggestion idea on Beta forum so you may like to upvote it…
Seconding this. The move bar is extremely helpful to me, but I can't find a widget with it, and I can't find the watchface I had on the fenix 7 series that showed it. Garmin please support the move bar on the new line series!
Garmin got rid of the move bar years ago (leaving only the move alert.)
If you’re looking for a third party Connect IQ watchface that has the move bar, Crystal-Tesla is one example (it’s a variant of the popular Crystal watchface.)
I’ve been toying with the idea of developing a Connect IQ widget that has the move bar (maybe it would also display steps idk), but I have no idea how many ppl want this.

You can definitely still use the move alerts, and like you said connect iq watchfaces can display it, so garmin's definitely tracking it somewhere in there. All it needs is a data element so it can be shown on default watchfaces.

I see. It's been gone from Forerunners for a while.

Yep
All it needs is a data element so it can be shown on default watchfaces.
But it seems like a conscious decision to remove it from watchfaces and the steps widget tho. Garmin actually removed the move bar from the steps widget in an update to the FR255:

So would you be interested in a 3rd party glance that shows the move bar? Or are you really only looking for native functionality?
The main thing is that I can always view it from the watchface, it's very useful to me. With how much I use it, and how well it works to get me moving and stick to a healthy habit, it's almost as important as being able to tell the time on the watchface, and none of the other information that can be on the watchface is even close to as useful. I'd use a watchface with only the time and the move bar if it was the only built-in watchface that had the move bar.
Ideally I'd be able to use my favorite built-in watchface with the move bar as a data element, but on the fenix 7 I had to use the one face that had it even though I didn't like it that much, and now I'm using a connect iq face that has it even though again, I don't like it very much and as I understand connect iq faces have worse battery life.
All that to say, can 3rd party glances be used as a data field in default watchfaces? If so something like that would be perfect, and I'd even look into making one myself

No, unfortunately not.
To expand on this, CIQ apps can publish data to be displayed on watchface complications for 3rd-party CIQ watchfaces and Face-It watchfaces (coming soon), but not for native watchfaces.
Even so, this complication data can only be text or numerical data. I guess you could try to implement a crude move bar with emoji, unicode box drawing characters or various symbols, but it obviously wouldn't look as good as the real move bar (and you wouldn't be able to control the color.)

I'm sorry for the mistake, here is the link to correct thread: forums.garmin.com/.../movebar-inside-steps-glances
doesn't even seem to be a move alert
It's there look under Watch Settings, Health & Wellness, Move Alert.
