I received my Fénix 8 today and noticed right away the buckle on the new band doesn’t have any visible screws. Anyone know how to switch the new buckle to other quickfit bands?

it's visible in the marketing shots, especially the one of the back of the watch.
I imagine it uses a standard spring pin so a knife would be able to remove the pin and swap it out. Swapping the buckle…
Yes the new buckles are standard spring pins not like the screw type on previous bands, I just swapped my buckles cause I wanted a black and orange band and a titanium and black.
The latest straps have a screw retaining the pin, not a spring. It's easy to change with the correct screwdriver. See https://support.garmin.com/en-GB/?faq=tSRDVFZ4mq7bQMwJrsa6xA#:~:text=Guide%20buckle…
Can you share some picture to show what you mean?

I imagine it uses a standard spring pin so a knife would be able to remove the pin and swap it out. Swapping the buckle is pretty niche, I can't imagine many people wanting to do this!
Do you mean the old style screw-in watch band bars/springs, that held the strap to the watch lugs?
I thought they were replaced with plain old spring bars. The Fenix 5x was the last Fenix to have them.
The 6x and 7x both have the newer spring bars - just like the 8 does now.
I assume they are talking about the screws in the buckle, not the watch. Every watch band I have uses screws for this but the new F8 bands don't have screws in the buckle, you can see it in the images. As I said, I assume this means spring bars here now too.
