Ended up ordering one from my usual dealer after a chunky discount and a free titanium bracelet made upgrading from my 51mm Epix Pro viable.
I contacted Garmin to confirm if the below model actually has DLC (as advertised all over the place) and got a confirmation. I wonder how Garmin pulled it off- in previous years, DLC meant that you get a carbon grey looking colour. Hopefully it ends up being as scratch resistant as my current watch.

Why they don't prepare same looking model with MIP.
There is only black or another with yellow band.
I had Fenix 7X with chestnut leather band and it was one of best looking Fenixes I had.
It's just well-intentioned advice. DLC is usually dark.
