Fenix 8 vs Epix Pro or maybe wait for Epix 3?

Hello 

Can you tell me the differences between these watch models. I don't see any differences, including screen, sensor, battery life, flashlight, etc.

Basically, Fenix8 is Epix Pro. Or am I wrong and missed something?

Or should i wait for Epix3?

    The Epix Pro has a lit of software issues which were not resolved since half a year I own it.

    If I were you I would wait some time with purchase a Fenix 8 or Epix Pro and see if Garmin will resolve those issues. I don't trust in them anymore and I would recommend trying another manufacturer.

    It's your choice, but you were warned.

    The number of bugs you might encounter depends heavily on how you use the watch. We all use our watches differently, some of us just happen to encounter a lot more bugs than others depending one what we're doing and how we're using it. Many people encounter virtually none.

    For example, on the current firmware, I've only encountered 1 bug (and it's not really even a serious one). Are there more bugs on the watch that I just haven't found? Probably. I don't know. I haven't found them because they don't happen to pop up with the way I use my watch.

    So you can't just make a blanket statement like "You WILL encounter tons of bugs", because even if you do, that does not at all mean that another person will.

    For the most part, many of the bugs only pop up in niche use cases, and most average users will never see them. Some bugs have been more widespread, but those ones do tend to be addressed much quicker.

    If no Epix 3 is released .. I’ll just keep my Epix 2 until it falls apart…

    a "Epix 3" when having Fenix 8 is pointless, since they decide to blend all features into one line

    Just consider that the Epix 2 was never an independent watch, it was a Fenix 7 Amoled.
