Long time and regular Garmin customer.
Recently bought a Fenix 7 to replace my 955, for various reasons.
However the Fenix 7 has navigation issues. When navigating it will say left turns are right turns, and right turns are left turns. Also turn notifications come too late, if at all. This for multiple activities. This in areas where GPS works fine with other watches.
We have never had issues like this with a Garmin watch in the 10+ years we have owned them.
I contacted the store Tradeinn where I bought it to file for warranty return, and they told me to contact Garmin. I contacted Garmin support and they told me to factory reset the watch, and update it. Both which I had already done.
And honestly, update software and factory reset is the proposed solution? Feels like I am being sent through some customer service standard hoops.
In the meantime, I have a €500 watch which doesn't work properly.
Unacceptable from both TradeInn and Garmin, and I refuse to be sent between you two companies while I sit with a broken watch that is barely a month old.
This is not the service I am used to from Garmin, and if this is how it is going to be. It will be the last time any of us will buy a Garmin watch. Pretty upset to tell you the truth.
