Fenix 7x ... shows multisport activity on the watch. But won't sync and doesn't show up in the Activity Folder as a .fit file. Any other things I should try?

I did a multisport activity yesterday. It's showing on the watch. It won't sync to Garmin Connect. When I look in the activity folder the .fit file is no where to be found. Any other thoughts on how to retrieve my file?

Have you tried manually exporting the activity from your watch and then importing it into Garmin Connect? Sometimes a restart of both the watch and your phone can help with syncing issues too. If those don't work, it might be worth reaching out to Garmin support for some extra help.

I feel like I tried all the tricks mentioned in the different forums I read but couldn't get it to work. I finally caved and called Garmin support today. They said it is a known issue and fix is currently in the works. An update to fix this should be pushed out shortly.

Possibly could repair the activity fit file, if you want to zip it then attach it here. Assuming it exists somewhere in the \GARMIN\Activity folder or \GARMIN\TempFIT.

Hi to everybody,

I really need your help. It looks to me as if I have the same problem. I did a triathlon and can't import the data to garmin connect. I think I messed up the T2 because I accidentaly pressed the button beforehand, got into T2 and went back into biking. I think the watch struggled a bit because of temperature and rain.

Would you guys please have a look at my linked data to see if you can rescue it.

If needed, my official ironman times were:

Swim: 01:15:10

T1: 00:06:55

Bike: 05:32:37

T2: 00:06:08

Run: 03:54:17

Overall: 10:55:07

This will work - [solved]

The main issue is the erroneous GPS data at the very end of the run.

I used Fit File Repair Tool to delete that one timestamp.

It's still missing the transition, but you should be able to fix that using the edit function in Garmin Connect Web. I was able to get it reasonably close by splitting the bike at 6:55 and changing it to "transition."
